Well known worldwide, Saint-Pons marble became recently “Marbres of France”. It owes its fame to its exceptional aesthetic and technical quality. It has contributed for centuries to the beautification of southern cities in France and has left its mark on various legendary monuments. The “Marbres de France” takes easily place in the landscape, with contemporary architectures as well as traditional buildings.

Careers are opened stepwise successive. Every color is bounded by a zone of fault established of schists. The various landings allow a selective extraction, following the directions of the veining, so assuring the production of homogeneous blocks in their color and their veining.
3 categories of blocks are produced. Of the category 3, used for the realization of tiled floors of type Roman opus (requiring a heterogeneousness of color and form), in the category 1, from which are made the rooms of decoration, of furnishing and prestigious wall coverings.
Marbres de France also market marble extracted from the other careers.
